Executive Summary
This report is a casual review of the year that passed. We hope to acknowledge a lot of people and friends who have been our avid supporters in all our endeavors as a company in motivational, inspirational, educational, and coaching industry in the Philippines.
We trust that this report will give credit to where the credit is due as well as inspiration to those who might need it in 2009.
January 2008
On January 4, I was very glad and honored to be invited by JV Calleja, country manager of Leo Pharma, to speak in their Sales Kick-Off Rally in Zuellig Building. I've met JV when I spoke before Marketing Executives in Pharmaceuticals-Healthcare Industry (Mepi).
Four days after, I went to University of The Philippines-Diliman to speak for UP Circle of Entrepreneurs during their 8th Young Entrepreneurs Convention. This coincided with UP's 100 year celebration.
On January 14, I had a taping for an NBN Channel 4 broadcast. I was invited to sit with Sec. Ricardo Saludo to guest in his TV program where I spoke about achieving dreams at a young age.
For two consecutive days, January 22-23, I talked about my book, Is There A Job Waiting For You?, in PUP. I shared my thoughts and philosophies with Electronics and Communications Engineering students. It was good to be back and it was a great feeling, too.
January 25, I was asked to give a leadership talk for the student leaders of STI-Muoz. It was their 1st STI Student Leaders Council.
January 29, I laughed and learned with the nursing students of University of Perpetual Help Rizal in Calamba. I talked about the availability of opportunities for nurses and nursing professionals.
February 2008
A flight going to Cagayan de Oro opened my February schedules with a motivational talk before the delegates of the Mindanao Business and Management Youth Congress at the Dynasty Hotel. I was thrilled and honored to have been a fellow speaker of Vice President De Castro and Sen. Mar Roxas among other big guys.
February 9 was the launching of Bizyonaryo at Starmall in Mandaluyong City. Since I believe in their advocacy, I decided to drop by and join.
I went back to PUP on February 22 for another talk about my best-selling book. My audience were students taking Business Administration major.
Five days later, on February 27, I spoke before more than 1,000 Computer Engineering students during their Information Technology Conference. It was held at the prominent Bulwagang Balagtas.
February 28, it was another dream come true for me. I was able to speak at the Asian Institute of Management by invitation of the leadership of Philippine Association of Real Estate Brokers (Pareb). I had some fun discussing my book, The Obvious. It was another hit!
During the National Placement Week in STI Global City on February 29, I had a chance of talking about my job book. The funny thing that happened here was immdiately right after my talk and after awarding a plaque of appreciation, I was invited on the spot by the dean to speak in their Baguio convention. My crowd didn't allow me to leave without a yes, and so I said so.

March 2008
March 8, I went back to UP-Diliman for another invitation of UP Circle of Entrepreneurs.
On March 14, I gave a motivational talk for the members of Senate Electoral Tribunal Employee Cooperative in Quezon City. It was
Three days before that talk, I've had the lone privilege of introducing the man behind My Perks, my dear friend who would pass away eight months later, during the brand's launching in Makati Stock Exchange. Henry Yap was indeed a loyal and very kind friend who twice gave me a ride going home. He's a genius and a patriot.
March 24, I packed my things to rush back to my home town, Gumaca, Quezon, where I spent my childhood. I gave a Recognition Day Speech. I take some pride at being the youngest ever to stand behind the podium to give such speech.
Seven days later, March 31, my team went to Island Cove in Cavite for a Sales Seminar and Team Building Activity of Unilab. It was fascinating and participants loved the way we did the entire program.
April 2008
April 20 was another day for the media. I was invited as guest in Joey Lina's Sunday DZMM Program Sagot Ko 'Yan. I had the honor to be a fellow resource studio guest of People Management Association of the Philippines (Pmap) president Ric Abadesco.
Watch my appearance here.
On April 26, I was in Crowne Plaza Hotel for my friend's Attracting Wealth Seminar. I introduced John Calub before the 250-strong welath-oriented crowd.
Two days later, I was in Intercontinental Hotel in Makati City to speak before the national delegation of Philippine Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals. I had a great time talking to the "gate-keepers."
May 2008
On May 10, I celebrated my 26th Birthday. It was two days before my birthday. I decided to do it in White Cross Orphanage in San Juan City. Instead of spending my time and money somewhere else, my entire family except for Claire, who's in Fairmont Hotel in Dubai, my friends and business associates, flocked there and gathered together.
Watch the 26th Birthday Special here.
I have to thank Potato Corner, French Baker, Ideal Macaroni, RFM, Sunkist, among others for their donations and support!
My team and I started to prepare to stage the John Maxwell Leadership Summit Live via Satellite at the Philam Life Auditorium. I accepted the offer of Ardy Roberto, Salt and Light Ventures owner, to be the producer of the show. It is in this project that I was able to discover some interesting personalities, values, and character of popular leadership and sales motivational speakers in the country.
Boy, just like me, they still have a lot to learn!
Note that we didn't accept any booking for any seminar between May 15 and June 10 for this event. It was both a challenging and exciting event. We've got lot of mixed experience and emotions before, during, and after the event.
On May 24, I was invited for an interview in a readio program at The Edge Radio. We've talked about my life before and after achieving some of my dreams. I was also asked to discuss my job book.

June 2008
June 10 was the D! Day! John Maxwell was beamed right from Edsa Shangri-La. What can our audience say? Well, fantastic (and competitive cost). It was like they watched a Manny Pacquiao fight.
June 12 is Philippine Independence Day and despite its being holiday, I decided to accept the invitation of Galing Pilipino Movement. I became their Anniversary speaker (twice, two consecutive years).
On June 16, I was personally invited by Ric Abadesco of PMAP to participate in their Thought Leadership Forum. I said this would be great. And so I joined that very diverse, unique group of people managers.
July 2008
On July 23, a Toyota Innova fetched me from Market Market for a learning session at Amkor Technology in Alabang.
After this corporate talk, I went to Baguio City for a talk at Teen Negosyo, an event co-organized by DepEd and GoNegosyo. I've seen a lot of fellow entrepreneurs there who joined me in the panel!
August 2008
I've always loved to talk to Human Resource professionals. I'm glad that Powermax and Inquirer Job Market invited me (as the youngest, untested) speaker at the HR Recruiters Summit in Crowne Plaza Hotel. Jesse Rebustillo, Inquirer AVP had some nerves before my speech but with the testimonials and praises for me from the audience right after my talk, he totally gave me a full trust and appreciation.
Just one day after that, we staged our first Master Class in Journalism, with Dante Francis "Klink" Ang II as our speaker at the Podium.
During the same month, I was invited to give a motivational talk before managers and unit heads of Cebuana Lhuillier in their training place in Antipolo City. It was fascinating to be considered since they've invited the caliber of Herman Moreno, Romi Garduce, among other big names.
I had a great time talking with Jean Henri Lhulillier who bought a copy of my book after my talk. I also joined them in a drinking session during the social night. I got drunk or did they (?)
September 2008
This is one favorite time of the year. Then I can only see the place in photo but now, September 11, by invitation of the leadership of Association of Service Professionals in Life Insurance (Aspli), I was able to feel and smell the breeze of Mt. Malarayat Gold Club in Batangas. I shared my module about Ifugao Leadership.
September 19 and 20 were Caregiver Conference and Expo and Nursing Conference and Expo at Mandarin Suites in Gateway Mall where I spoke and signed some books!
October 2008
It was October 11 when I spoke before St. Dominic De Sabio about my job book. And it was a quite unique experience from fetching me up, riding in a van with Starbucks coffee, developing a presentation, doing all those stuffs altogether!
RFM celebrated its 50th year in the business on October 13. I was able to get an invitation and I was very glad to attend. I was able to get acquainted with some long lost friends in the business community. I also saw my mentors.
On October 15, I empowered the audience of Fil-Negosyo at the Megatrade Hall.
The day after that, October 16, I gave a talk at Inquirer Job Market and Inquirer Libre Career Expo 2008 in Glorietta. Opps, I had a repeat of my talk the following day, October 17.
Four days later, I was introducing a speaker from the United States, Dr. Cris Enriquez, who happened to be our main speaker during the Health and Wealth Summit organized by CreativEvents.

On November 8, I've started my Master Class in Internet Marketing Coaching program. It's a 16-hour lecture workshop on how to market over the Internet in the Philippines.
Details can be viewed here.
Two days after that, November 10, I spoke before the PUP students on their Career Hunt at Claro M. Recto Hall.
